THE PROTOCOL
Technical Doctrine & Architecture
Operational Doctrine:
AI-Operated. Human-Adjudicated.
Res Publica relies on heavy computational inference to process the chaotic volume of civic reality. However, silicon cannot hold legal or moral authority. The AI serves as the sensory network and the analytical engine; human agents hold the final cryptographic key for execution and verification.
The Dual-Node Architecture
To protect the integrity of the command infrastructure, Res Publica employs a strict separation of concerns. Input layers (citizen telemetry, social scrapers, archival dumps) are isolated from Action layers (dispatch, notarization, indexing). Data crosses the void via stateless, low-latency WebSocket bridges.
Folio Zero Node
Function: Semantic Vector Search Engine & Historical Index.
Mechanics: Ingests unsealed government archives, court records, and public contracts. Utilizes local edge-compute (Ollama/Nomic) to generate 768-dimensional embeddings, allowing researchers to query millions of pages via conceptual meaning rather than exact keyword matching.
Zócalo Node
Function: The Sensory Network.
Mechanics: The citizen-facing application interface. Ingests active incident reports, passive social media telemetry, and open-data feeds. Translates chaotic street-level data into structured JSON payloads for broadcast.
Praesidium Node
Function: The Tactical Command Dashboard.
Mechanics: Receives real-time data streams from Zócalo via Tornado WebSockets. Aggregates data into dark-mode geospatial threat heatmaps, allowing government and security dispatchers to act on verified anomaly clusters instantly.
